Welcome to Vintage Porcelain Art! I am an award winning porcelain artist with over 20 years experience. I specialize in the vintage "lost" art of china painting in the style of the old victorian masters as well as in the romantic, shabby and cottage chic style. Thank you for letting me share my art with you!
This is my first Pink Saturday! YAY! I went through some pictures of some of my previous pieces that have gone to their new homes. Pink roses are my favorite thing to paint so it was difficult to decide which pictures to share!
Hi Amy, I just checked in to Etsy Cottage Style and found your blog. It is so lovely to see more of your work. Maybe you can visit my blog if you have time.
Oh my! I just love your work!!! Happy Pink Saturday to you! I see you have an Ebay store. I will be visiting later today. In the meantime, I will add your blog to my blog list!

Happy Pink Saturday Amy Sweetie... Oh my goodness what beautiful pieces you have shared today. I love all of them, the shapes and sizes and the way you created the roses with such caring love, but I have to tell you, I adore the last piece most. I love cherubs and these are just exquisite. Your detail is so magnificent. Love it.
I will be checking out your shop too. I am Country Wings your newest follower. I cannot wait to see what pinks you share next. I cannot even draw a rose, let alone paint them, so yours truly facinate me. I feel as though I can actually smell the fragrance from the pieces themselves.
Please stop by and say hi. I would be so honored if you signed up to follow my blog as well. Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

Quotes~
The decoration of china is a peculiarly interesting art, because by this means articles that are both beautiful and useful are produced, and also in that the mineral decoration, once fixed by fire, is fadeless and invulnerable to the ravages of time as long as the object upon which it is applied endures.

In conclusion, look upon this art not altogether as "a craze", or as a pastime - it is something nobler.

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything You gave me." ~ Erma Bombeck
