The decoration of china is a peculiarly interesting art, because by this means articles that are both beautiful and useful are produced, and also in that the mineral decoration, once fixed by fire, is fadeless and invulnerable to the ravages of time as long as the object upon which it is applied endures.

In conclusion, look upon this art not altogether as "a craze", or as a pastime - it is something nobler.

My name is Amy Enright and I am a mother, wife and an artist. I live in Southern California with my best friend and husband,Trevor and my 13 year old daughter, Leah. I've loved to draw an paint as long as I can remember. My mom and other family members recognized and encouraged my interest in art. I have 23 years experience in china painting. The fundamentals of art I learned during my study of china painting. While china painting is my foundation and my passion, I enjoy other mediums including face and body painting, mural painting and painting on canvas.
Thank you for allowing me to share my art with you!
