Pink Roses For Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday!
Before I show you my Pinkies, I would like to announce the opening of my Etsy "Vintage Porcelain Art" Store.
Please stop by for a visit!
There aren't very many listings yet, but there will be soon!

Here are some of every body's favorite........Pink Roses!

OK OK!  LOL!  This next one isn't pink, but after getting it I'm tickled pink!
I was MORTIFIED at the thought of having to wear a CPAP machine to sleep!
I mean, look at this thing! My hubby teased me and said I look like Darth Vadar wearing it!
I've been suffering severe chronic fatigue and it affects my life, including my work!
Last night was my first night with my new friend "Pappy" I'm now calling it.
My life has changed over night! I felt the difference after only one night!  My husband thinks its cool now and wants one for himself after seeing the difference it has made today!
What a blessing this horrible looking thing turned out to be!  HAHAHA!

Any ideas on how to make it more attractive?
I've thought about gluing rhinestones on it, but really I think the best thing to do is turn the lights out!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Pink Saturday, I am! :)

Please Stop and say hello to Bev and the other Pinky's!

  1. I just found your blog from the Rooster Party. I don't paint china but my favorite great aunt did. I spent many hours watching her paint and once in a while she would let me help her mix paint. Her grandson gave me a plate she painted and it is one of my most cherished memories from childhood. I will visit your blog again just to see your beautiful work. Thanks for the memories!

  3. Looks all too familiar. I get the Darth Vadar comments as well. My best advice, put it on crawl under the covers until the light is out and then emerge from your cocoon.

  4. As always, your pink roses are beautiful!!! How amazingly talented you are.

That's wonderful that you feel the effects of Pappy after just one night. May it bring increased benefits with every wearing.

    Happy pink Saturday to you,

  7. Hi Amy...

Oh my I had no idea about the chronic fatigue...but if "Pappy" helps you sleep better, it is so worth it. I wonder if you could use a glue gun or some pretty vintage rose decoupage on it...to sparkle it up a bit?

Your pink items are gorgeous as usual :) :) I think I figured it out...your artwork fills my heart with joy and I feel joyful afterwards too...!!! What a gift ;) :) I've thought about joining Pink Saturday...but just haven't done it yet.

I'm going back to work at my old job starting on Monday...and it will last through December!! That's a praise to have a nice regular paycheck for awhile!!! I'll check out your Etsy shop. It'll be successful...I'm very confident in that :) :) Oh, I have my own blog button now, if you want to grab it. It's near the top of my sidebar!!! Have a great weekend, Amy. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  8. Your creations are just lovely!!
Unfortunately there is no way to make a CPAP look good but the best thing is how good you look and feel in the morning!!
Many of my patients have them and bring their own in from home when they are in the hospital. It does help them to function better in therapy.
Good for you for recognizing that something was wrong and acting on it. I always say that no one is going to look out for you but you!!

    HPS!!

  9. Hi Amy! Wow! A CPAP! it could stand for:
Creating Porcelain Art Posies!!!! And of course you could Paint Roses on it!!
I love your roses...you do them so beautifully. Thanks for sharing and I'm still wanting a purple plate of violets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So glad your cpap works so well for you. My hubby has had one for years now and can't sleep with it! Back again to the Dr.!!
    Blessings, Doni

  12. Keep up with your cpap...you'll get to where you cannot do without it!!! I know...I've been using one for years...I've had to add braces on both of my hands to the mix recently...I think it scares my dogs!!!

  13. Oh, I’m thrilled to have found your blog through ECS. I wear a c-pap too, and tho it’s as, um, “lovely” as yours, it’s a godsend! I don’t think about it much anymore, but DH and I do make “pilot to co-pilot” jokes sometimes, LOL. Am going to go check out your blog more, and your Etsy..... will definitely be seeing you around! Hugs, Cathy K

  14. My husband uses a C-pap machine too. I confess to getting the giggles sometimes when he puts it on...but all in all I like it as much as he does. The sound it makes helps me sleep. When he is away the silence makes me crazy. It is so good that these are available.

I look forward to seeing your Rooster Post and others. Going to look there now.
